Prioritising
I've been working on off. Mainly off, though.
I started this piece because I wanted to do something more cliche (than I normally do), and I guess, for the stupid and ___ reason for wanting to get more favourites and pageviews on DA. Not going to do that again.
The curtain behind the character was actually inspired by renaissance paintings of the Mary and baby Jesus, where there often is a green curtain behind them, and one can see the country side on the two sides.
The curtains she has around her arms were actually done to kinda hide my inability to draw arms properly, though maybe I should have covered the hands instead...
